Once again, Tweed Theatre's pantomime has been a great success with Peebles audiences. Out of 6 performances, 5 were fully booked and even the first performance only had about 50 seats available.

Sue Tickner and the cast can take great pride in yet another amazing production making the many weeks of work all worth while.

Read a review of the show.

The world premiere of an exciting and topical new play. James Douglas is an ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances. A hostage in the hands of religious fundamentalists, he is faced with years of solitary confinement and suffering of mind and body. At home in Scotland, a young woman is struggling against the indifference of the political and religious establishment to achieve his liberation. The shattering effects of his captivity will irrevocably alter both of their lives.

Congratulations to our Chair Person

Tweed Theatre would like to wish Sue Tickner (now Sue Usher) congratulations and best wishes on her recent marriage to Frank Usher.

Following Frank's heart attack before Christmas, they decided to hold a "wedding reception"party which raised over £2,000 for The British Heart Foundation- a fantastic effort.

Thankfully, Frank is now in good health again.
